Fundraising Boot Camp will help you win more donors and raise more funds!

Be more successful at fundraising ...

What Is Fundraising Boot Camp?

Fundraising Boot Camp (FBC) offers a unique, highly practical, result-driven training and coaching program that gives you the tools to achieve greater success in fundraising. With an approach to ministry fundraising that is based in timeless biblical principles, you’ll learn how to find more donors, raise more money, strengthen your relationships with givers and impact more lives.

Who Should Attend?

Fundraising Boot Camp is for Executive Directors, Development Directors and Board Members and anyone who wants to see their organization flourish.

What Will I Learn?

You’ll learn how to become a confident fundraiser. You will be encouraged as you meet with your cohort six times in April and May. You’ll walk away with a wealth of tools, ideas and resources to significantly advance your fundraising skills.

Teaching Modules Include:

  1. Inspiration for Radical Generosity – Crafting Your Story and Brand – How to increase the visibility and attractiveness of your organization. You’ll focus on creating a powerful and compelling story, case for support, and brand message.
  2. Find, Win, Keep, Lift – Developing Donors for Life – How to find, win, keep and lift donors so that your base of support grows year after year.
  3. Raising More Money – How to Create Profitable Revenue Streams – How to create profitable fundraising programs that engage donors, produce net income and build a profitable annual development plan.
  4. Conducting The Fundraising Orchestra – Building an Effective Fundraising Team – Discover ways to more fully involve your board, staff, volunteers and friends in the fundraising process.
  5. Asking Major Donors for Large Gifts – Mastery of “The Ask” – Gain mastery over asking major donors for large gifts.
  6. Knowing Your Givers – Secrets of Relationship Management – Discover how to effectively manage the information about your donors so that you can spend your time building stronger relationships.

What About One-On-One Coaching?

Coaching is a big part of your experience in FBC. Once you learn the material in the classes, you will be assigned a coach who will be with you for a year to help you implement your fundraising plan and stay focused on your top priorities. You’ll receive two, one-hour calls per month which you will schedule directly with your coach. In addition, you will receive a site visit from your coach and a periodic strategic review with all three coaches as we collaborate to provide you with our best insights, strategies and ideas. Your coach will also meet with your board to help them better understand their role in fundraising.

When Is It Scheduled?

The live full-day trainings begin on Thursday, April 4, 2019 and will be held at Western Seminary, (ROOM #BH 203), Portland, Oregon from 9 am to 3:30 pm.
